Amon Duul II- Yeti

Amon Duul II were on the outer fringes of the already outer fringe scene of late 60's early 70's german experimental rock (aka krautrock). This is some of the most out there druggy free-kraut-improv-psych ever recorded. I'm guessing these people were on some shit that gets you in touch with some other shit, if you know what i'm saying. Makes King Crimson sound like Stars of The Lid.

Faust- IV

Faust, particularly the mighty "IV", took the electronic experimentation of their krautrock peers like Cluster and Kraftwerk and added a certain WTF!! that made them a major influence on some of avant-garde rocks least compromising acts like Swell Maps, Pere Ubu, Dead C and Sonic Youth, bands that would influence many others in turn. A true musical Landmark
